The 9th grade Parent Orientation will take place on Wednesday, July 10th from 9:10 am – 11:30 am in the Performing Arts Center at San Ysidro High. Counselors and support staff will be informing you about High School requirements and academic support programs to help your child succeed in High School. Please sign up for the Parent 9th grade Orientation by completing this form:
All 9th grade students and students new to SYH are invited to attend Cougar Camp, the new student orientation, that will take place Tuesday, July 9th through Wednesday, July 10th from 9am – 1:30 pm. Cougar Camp aims to teach students about our campus and school culture to give them to a head start when they begin high school. If you have not already done so, please sign up your child by completing this form:
Transportation for Cougar Camp will be provided for students. Pick Up time approximately @ 8:15 am at the following locations:
#1 Sipes and Anella
#2 Willow Elementary
#3 Sunset and Alverson
#4 Beyer and Del Sur (Villanueva)
#5 Ave De La Madrid and Avenida De La Cruz

The time is upon us once again to begin the selection process for the Student School Board Representative for the 2019-20 school year. Student candidates need to be JUNIORS in the 2019-20 school year. Interested applicants may obtain an application from your ASB office starting May 13, 2019. Please complete the application, and return it to the ASB office along with their one page statement by May 24, 2019. Application for this important position is open to all high school students who will be juniors during the 2019-20 school year. Interested students will submit a single page typed essay to why they would like to be the Student School Board Representative, they also need to be prepared to support their essay in a 10-minute interview conducted by ASB Presidents. The selected student and the alternate will be presented to the school board during the regular June meeting of the Board of Trustees.
