Hermanas Unidas UCSB

SYH students have the opportunity to travel to UC Santa Barbara for FREE through the Hermanas Unidas de UCSD M.E.N.T.O.R. Program.

The program will take place on April 9 – 11 and students will live on-campus for the duration of the trip.

If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please come to the informational meeting on Friday November 8th in the library during lunch.

Otay Mesa Community Clean-up event November 9th

Members from District 8, Councilmember Vivian Moreno’s office, would like to invite San Ysidro High School to be a part of our Otay Mesa Community Clean-up event taking place on Saturday, November 9th from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.

 

We will be cleaning up the Otay Mesa community and provide an opportunity for neighbors to dispose of unwanted items in city provided trash bins. We will be meeting at Ocean View Church located at 2460 Palm Ave, San Diego, CA 92154.

 

By taking part in this wonderful event, you will be helping to beautify the Otay Mesa community. There are different ways that you could take part, such as providing donations and /or volunteers.
