San Ysidro High competes in the Metro Conference which is comprised of schools from the Sweetwater Union High School District and Mater Dei Catholic High School.  We are a member of the San Diego Section of the CIF and follow all rules and regulations under their jurisdiction.

We have an excellent coaching staff, the best facilities anywhere and a supportive administration.  Your child will receive an outstanding experience competing on our athletic teams.  We encourage students to participate in at least two sports.  Studies have shown that extracurricular activities raise student grade point averages, improve student attendance and will develop leadership qualities in our students.
